Florida is the second most visited state in the U.S., relying on tourism to drive its economy more than any other state. The Sunshine State also relies heavily on international trade, agriculture, aerospace and aviation, and the life sciences. As of 2020, Florida had the fourth-largest economy in the United States behind California, Texas, and New York with a gross domestic product (GDP) of $1.1 trillion and a $101.5 billion budget for 2021-2022.123
